Adrian Beltre Private Signing

Adrián Beltré had a historic career, amassing 3,166 hits and 477 home runs. He boasted a career batting average of .286, placing him 18th on the All-Time Hit List. He also ranks 15th in MLB history for Extra-Base Hits, 11th for doubles, and 15th for both career games played (2,933) and total bases (5,309). Additionally, he stands 25th all-time in RBIs with 1,707. Beltré holds the record for the most hits ever by a player who primarily played at third base and is second in MLB history for games played at third base with 2,759, trailing only Brooks Robinson (2,870). Throughout his career, Adrián Beltré was a four-time All-Star, four-time Silver Slugger Award winner, five-time Gold Glove Award winner, and two-time Platinum Glove Award winner.

In the Hall of Fame voting, Beltré received 366 of the 385 votes from qualifying BBWAA members, achieving 95.1%—the highest percentage since Derek Jeter in 2020 (99.75%) and making him the 19th player to receive at least 95% of the vote. A total of 289 votes (75%) were needed for election. Beltré becomes the 19th third baseman inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the tenth selected by BBWAA voting. Notably, he is the first Hall of Fame third baseman born outside of the United States.
